Product Notes

First, in "St. Ives" (1976), crime reporter-turned-novelist Charles Bronson plays go-between to recover stolen ledgers that could possibly ignite a gang war between two rival underworld factions and becomes lost in a maze of betrayal and murder. Co-stars John Houseman, Jacqueline Bisset, Maximilian Schell, and Harry Guardino. Then, in "Telefon" (1977), Bronson is a KGB man racing to stop rogue associate Donald Pleasence from activating brainwashed sleeper agents living in America. With the clock ticking towards doomsday, Bronson must stop Pleasence before his actions set World War III in motion. Lee Remick, Tyne Daly co-star; directed by Don Siegel.
